About me

I have 20 years of experience as a FEA Analyst, primarily running explicit nonlinear analysis in LS-Dyna. I have worked across many industries including defense, aerospace, and automotive. I earned my BSME from the University of Utah in 2001, and my MSME with an emphasis in composite materials from Wright State University in 2008.

Analysis Types
  • Linear static

  • Nonlinear structural

  • Contact mechanics

  • Plasticity

  • Failure and fracture of metals, plastics, and composites

Philosophy
  • “All models are wrong. Some are useful.”

  • Physics before meshing.

  • If you can’t explain it physically, don’t trust it numerically.

What I don't do
  • I don’t produce black-box results

  • I don’t replace your engineering team

  • I don’t validate fundamentally flawed concepts.

Engagement Options
  • Hourly consulting

  • Fixed-fee model review

  • Retainer for ongoing support

  • Short-term technical advisor role
